Blake Karls is Director of Investments and Media Communications for Crescent Grove Advisors. As a member of the Crescent Grove Investment Committee, Blake works in collaboration with the firm’s co-Chief Investment Officers to build and maintain a high-quality, open architecture investment platform. In addition to his work on the Investment Committee, Blake helps advance the firm’s strategic messaging and thought leadership profile.

Prior to joining Crescent Grove Advisors in 2023, Blake worked at Artisan Partners Asset Management, leading marketing and communication efforts for the Artisan Partners Credit Team. Prior to Artisan Partners, Blake was Assistant Vice President at Robert W. Baird, responsible for investment manager research and due diligence.

Blake earned his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and BS from Truman State University. He is a CFA Charterholder and member of the CFA Society of Milwaukee. In his free time, Blake enjoys cheering on the Milwaukee Bucks and exploring new restaurants with his wife, Ellie.
