Bijal Chikani joined Crescent Grove Advisors in January 2023 as a Director of Tax, IL region. Bijal reviews highly complex Federal and multi-state filings. Additionally, he enjoys training his colleagues and provides valuable advice by conducting research on a variety of tax topics. He works closely with clients resolving tax matters by representing them before taxing authorities.

Prior to joining Crescent Grove Advisors, Bijal served as a Vice President of National Tax Group, Midwest Region at the Ayco Company, LP, a subsidiary of Goldman Sachs. He started his professional career at Ayco in 2007 as a Tax Analyst and quickly became the go-to guy for all things taxes. Among the many highlights of his career at Ayco, Bijal is especially proud of training countless colleagues in taxes and being the regional foreign tax expert.

Bijal was born and raised in India and earned his undergraduate degree from Gujarat University, Ahmedabad. He is also a licensed CPA, holds a master’s degree in taxation and certification for completing second level (Intermediate) of the Chartered Accountancy course from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Outside of work, Bijal loves sports, traveling, trying out different cuisines and enjoys spending time outdoors with the family. At work, Bijal is a true culture-carrier.
